Institutional Work

Through cinematic media, I document architectural landmarks, cultural landscapes, and the narratives they embody. Each project is carefully researched and crafted, capturing the nuances of place and historical context. The work serves as a lasting record, supporting institutional archives, public interpretation, and the preservation of heritage over time in a fusion of documentary accuracy and considered visual storytelling.

Library of Congress

A cinematic documentation of one of the nation’s most significant cultural institutions, focused on architectural detail, materiality, and the role of the Library as a living archive. Created with an emphasis on transcendence, visual clarity, and long-term institutional use.

Process

1. Institutional Alignment

Each project begins with a focused conversation to understand the institution’s goals, interpretive priorities, and intended use. This ensures the work is grounded in context, accuracy, and purpose before production begins.

2. Research & Production
Each project is approached with careful preparation, studying the site, light, materials, and rhythms of place before filming or photographing. Production is intentional and unobtrusive, allowing architecture and atmosphere to guide the work.

3. Editing & Delivery
Post-production is where the narrative takes shape. Imagery and film are edited with restraint and precision, resulting in a cohesive body of work designed for clarity, longevity, and meaningful engagement.
