Frequently asked questions.

What kinds of shoots can I book with you?

I specialize in thoughtfully composed photography and cinematic media rooted in architecture, interiors, and the cultural narratives that give them life. This work may take the form of commissioned documentary films for museums, cultural institutions, and heritage organizations, or refined photographic documentation for architects, designers, and preservation projects. Each engagement is approached as a bespoke narrative, shaped by the character and context of the subject.

Where are you based? Do you travel?

I am based in Leesburg, Virginia, and regularly travel for projects.
If your work, site, or story exists elsewhere, I’m open to collaborating with you wherever it unfolds.

How does the booking process work?

Projects begin with an initial inquiry through the Contact page.
For institutions and cultural organizations, this typically leads to a brief conversation to understand the scope, goals, and intended use of the work, followed by a tailored proposal.
For architects, designers, and independent clients, the process focuses on aligning on creative approach, timeline, and deliverables before confirming scheduling.

How much does a shoot cost?

Pricing is determined by the scope, context, and intended use of the work.
For institutions and cultural organizations, proposals reflect research, production time, rights, and long-term application across education, exhibition, or archival use.
For architects, designers, and private clients, pricing is based on deliverables, licensing, and production complexity.
After learning more about your goals, I prepare a tailored proposal that aligns the creative approach with the practical needs of the project.

What is your work process like?

Every project begins with a conversation.to understand the story you want to tell, whether it’s a historic building, a museum collection, or a lived space.
Afterward, I undertake thoughtful research and planning, always considering light, materiality, and spatial atmosphere before arriving on location.
On-site, I work attentively, allowing the space’s qualities to reveal themselves and inform the composition.
In post-production, I shape the work into a cohesive, polished collection of imagery or film that resonates with the subject’s spirit and purpose.

When should I get in touch?

The earlier you reach out, the better. To ensure each project receives the care and intention it deserves, I take a limited number of commissions and recommend contacting at least a month in advance.

What will I receive?

You will receive a curated selection of fully edited, high-resolution images or films.
I do not deliver raw files — the editing and sequencing are integral to the work’s narrative and quality.
