Frequently asked questions.

Do you work on commission, or only personal projects?

Both! While some of my work is self-initiated and documentary in spirit, I absolutely take on commissioned shoots. I enjoy collaborating with people and organizations who want their story told with honesty and artistry.

What kinds of shoots can I book with you?

I specialize in photographing historic architecture and interiors: capturing the character of spaces with a cinematic, timeless eye. Alongside still photography, I also create documentary films on commission, as well as branding videos for museums, cultural institutions, and organizations that wish to share their story with depth and artistry. Each commission is approached as a unique narrative, shaped around the subject and setting.

Where are you based? Do you travel?

I’m based in Leesburg, VA, though I often travel for projects. If your story lives elsewhere,
I’m open to following it there.

How does the booking process work?

Simply reach out through my Contact page and share a little about your vision.
From there, we’ll set up a conversation to align on details, approach, and schedule.

What is your work process like?

Every project begins with a conversation. I want to understand the story you hope to tell, whether it’s a historic building, a museum collection, or a lived space. From there, I research the site and plan carefully, often mapping how light will move through the space so I can capture it at its most revealing moments. On location, I work attentively, letting details and atmospheres unfold. Afterward, I refine the work in post production, shaping a collection of images or films that feel cohesive, polished, and true to the spirit of the subject.

When should I get in touch?

The sooner the better. To give each project the care it deserves, I take on a limited number of commissions and recommend reaching out at least a month in advance.

What will I receive?

You’ll receive a curated collection of fully edited, high-resolution images (or films). I don’t deliver raw files — the edit is part of the story.

How much does a shoot cost?

Every project is different. After learning about your needs, I’ll prepare a proposal that reflects the scope and intention of the work.
